Rob Lee has been with Midwest Environmental Advocates since 2018, where his work spans a wide range of environmental and public health issues. His areas of focus include PFAS contamination, oil pipelines, Clean Water Act compliance, wetlands and waterways, the Great Lakes, Wisconsin’s Public Trust Doctrine, hazardous substances, mining, and open government.

During his time at MEA, Rob has served on multiple technical advisory committees for Wisconsin DNR rulemakings, taught continuing legal education (CLE) courses, served as an adjunct professor at the University of Wisconsin Law School, and was appointed to the DNR’s PFAS External Advisory Group.

Rob earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Arkansas and his law degree from the University of Notre Dame. Growing up in the Ozarks, he developed a deep appreciation for the region’s natural beauty that ultimately inspired his commitment to environmental protection. In his free time, Rob enjoys music, exploring the outdoors, and fishing.
