On September 3, a judge will hear testimony in a critical fight to block construction permits for a new 41-mile segment of Enbridge Energy’s Line 5 pipeline in northern Wisconsin.
The Bad River Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and a group of environmental organizations are challenging the permits. The outcome of this case could have lasting consequences for Wisconsin’s wetlands and waterways, Indigenous rights, and the future of fossil fuel infrastructure in our region.
We invite our supporters to come together on Wednesday, September 3 in Madison, to observe the hearing and stand in quiet solidarity with those working to stop this dangerous project. Your presence will send a powerful message: We are watching, we care, and we stand with those defending our shared environment.
