Dan joined Midwest Environmental Advocates in 2022 with over 25 years of experience in private practice, primarily in the areas of environmental, energy/utility, administrative and local government law. He holds an AV peer review rating from Martindale-Hubbell, and has been selected by his peers for inclusion in the Best Lawyers in America, in Environmental Law, Environmental Litigation, and Energy Law.
Dan holds a BA in Biology, with a certificate in Environmental Studies from Lawrence University, and an MS in Land Resources from UW-Madison’s Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies. After working as an environmental scientist researching contaminants in soil and groundwater, he earned his law degree, cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin Law School.
A Wisconsin resident for over 40 years, Dan enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, biking, kayaking, and exploring the natural beauty of the Wisconsin landscape.
