There are many environmental issues that Midwest Environmental Advocates monitors across the region. Theses issues come to us in many ways. Some are collaborative efforts with other environmental groups to address problems in the regions, watersheds or around specific problems. Others are issues that citizens have brought to Midwest Environmental Advocates, seeking help. We are not only proactive in our work in addressing issues; we are responsive to the needs of citizens in Wisconsin and the Midwest. Many issues overlap. Our water, air and land are ever interconnected.
Midwest Environmental Advocates works hard to address the many issues that affect our land, water and air. We work with citizens, other environmental groups, neighborhood associations, faith groups and others to educate and build a grassroots coalition of concerned and empowered environmental advocates. An Action refers to when Midwest Environmental Advocates is actively involved with supporting an individual or group to solve the environmental problems they face.
